Life Euphemism No. 2
This sign was made out of two pieces of burnished aluminum that I sandwiched together. The back piece has a rougher finish than the front. The letters are cut out of the front piece even though it looks like they are sticking out. You might be able to get this optical illusion to reverse if you stare at it a while. If not, click here to go to a detail which should reveal what's going on. The illusion fit well with the questions that are a haiku-like variation of the ever popular expression, "It is what it is".
